Think on your feet

It’s important to feel the need and hurts of others. However, what is more important is to think on your feet and do something quickly and appropriately about it. We come across situations similar to the story below on our day-after-day life.

Read the following story:

A man fell into a pit and called out for help.

A subjective person replied, “I feel for you, down there.”

An objective person replied, “It’s quite possible that you’ll remain down there.”

A scientist analysed the relative theory of how he fell into a pit.

A statistician answered, “50-50 chances are anyone could fall into a pit.”

A journalist came up with an exclusive story about this pit.

A yogi philosophised, “Your pit is only a state of your mind.”

A pessimist discouraged, “Things will get worse.”

Being Creative is not Enough

Being Creative is not enough. You need to have organisational ability/ skill to turn your ideas/ vision into reality.

CREATIVITY X ORGANISATION = IMPACT

If the impact of our ideas is in fact largely determined by our ability to stay
organised, then we would observe that those with tons of creativity but little to no organisation yield on average, nothing. Let’s imagine a wildly creative but totally disorganised thinker, the equation would be:

100 X 0 = 0

Does this bring someone to mind? Someone who has loads of ideas but is so disorganised that no one particular idea is ever fully realised? You could argue that someone with half the creativity and just a little more organisational ability would make a great deal more impact:

50 X 2 = 100

The equation helps us understand why some “less-creative” artists might produce more work than their talented and inventive peers. A shocking and perhaps unfortunate realization emerges – someone with average creativity but stellar
organisational skills will make a greater impact than the disorganised creative geniuses among us.

We’re all creative humans and we all have stunning and brilliant ideas hidden like a precious gem deep down the core of our genius mind.

To sum up, organise your thoughts and ideas. Visualise your goals and ideas and doodle often. Who knows you might come up with a stellar idea. Visualisation is very important.

FYI, you don’t need to be a great artist to doodle your ideas.

The Education System and Grades

One exam shouldn’t decide your future. Everyone’s so obsessed with grades. The Education System is so tampered with Grades. It doesn’t not totally depend on what you spill on the paper, but what you understand is what really matters at the end of the day. The “Damn Intelligent People (DIP)” with higher grades are the ones who plays “Damn Creatively” with their words and feeds toxic venom to their mind, and eventually leading Us to a dungeon of corruption.

Memorizing Pi (π)

The digits of Pi are fascinating. As the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, Pi has such a fundamental definition, and yet this ratio is irrational and so its decimal expansion never repeats. It is easy to be mesmerized by the digits of the decimal expansion:

and many people have tried to memorize digits of Pi for fun.

One fun way to memorize the first few digits is to use sentence mnemonics for Pi- phrases in which the number of letters of each successive word corresponds to a digit of Pi.

Here are some well-known Pi mnemonics:

“Wow! I made a great discovery!” (3.14159. . .)

“Can I have a small container of coffee?” (3.1415926. . .)

“How I want a drink, alcoholic of course, after the heavy lectures involving quantum mechanics.” (3.14159265358979. . .)

Don’t insist to yourself that God doesn’t exist. I believe among other things God is a humourous mathematician with a keen eye for artistic symmetry.
